Marsh fog

Sometimes I get lucky.
I left it a little long to go out into the fog this morning, but not too long. This little marsh is just down the road and fills up nicely with fog. I'm a little bummed I didn't have the presence of mind to do a long exposure here. I think the soft, smoothness of the water would have complemented the empty sky well, but there's always tomorrow!

I agree as to a longer exposure, but as is still a nice shot.

I love this shot. I'd like to see it in monotone though - it's already most of the way there, but on my screen there's a greenish tinge hovering above the first layer of vegetation.

    Very nice!

Hope you get a do-over. This is a lovely scene and your shot does capture the peaceful start of day. The water works for me with the reflections of grass and trees. The sky is too bright for me, but you did say you waited a bit long. Definitely worth another trip--can't wait to see the result.
