Just a family-album shot, taken Sunday when my kid went for his Tae Kwon Do Orange belt (he made it).

Canon 5D with 24-105L. 580ex on board, LS-II. This was a really dark school basement with some harsh afternoon light coming in from a couple high windows. I only had the one chance to get the shot. I'd made a post in Theory, Technique and How To, but I accidentally busted the links by deleting some shots :rolleyes. My point was: know your camera, and you can even get these shots with only one chance. Practice, practice!

Enjoy (Tae Kwon Do!) photography,

Your kid's gonna have an awesome album to look back on when he's your age. Nice work!
