ok, I nutted up and bought the Lee Big Stopper.
I am currently using it on a 5Dmk ll/16-35L ll glass.
My first shoot was unsuccessful. I attached the Lee filter holder system to an 82mm uv round filter, applied the Big stopper and my shots have vignetting rings in the frame. Very noticeable.
Conditions were cloudy, Lens was set at 16mm(wide) f/11 focus at infinity. into the coudy sun. Landscape.
Can anyone help or share any successful technique with this set-up?
Any thoughts would be great.

You can do two things to help.
First, take the UV filter off, that color balance it is offering can be perfectly done in post. It may appear a bit blue in the first preview but simply drag the color temp from lets say 4500k to 5500k.
This allows the filter holder to mount closer to the lens, thus reducing the vignette.
Second, With that lens filter combo you will need to zoom the lens until the vignette is not apparent. This could be around 18 or 20mm?
