Video upload problem

Anyone having problems uploading videos?

When i upload videos to a gallery the thumbs show up as "Processing Image". They have been that way for about 3 hours. They are just 30 - 50MB .mov files from my canon 7d. I have uploaded many clips from this cam without any problems. It seems that they never stop processing.

If i click on the video play button i get the message "playback error"

I even loaded a video that was successfully loaded into another gallery several days ago and it does the same thing.

This seems like a smugmug problem.

    Hi,

We are a little lagged on processing videos. The queue should process in the next couple of hours.

Video processing is usually done within an hour or less. The thumbnail gives you an indication if the video is still processing. If it still shows as processing after an hour, check the upload log (account settings > stats > uploads > details) in case there might be an error. If no error is shown in the upload log for the video, it may take more time.

Same problem. I uploaded an 10 second clip 15 minutes ago and still pending. My experience uploading video is that this is the norm, not the exception. I haven't seen anything to suggest anyone really cares enough to plan on improving it.

Have you checked the upload log?
