Nikon D4 LCD Protection

I recently acquired the Nikon D4... which does not come with a screen protector ! Any ideas why not (tempered glass...:dunno or something) ? Anyway's, I'm looking to purchase something to protect my big $ investment. I've been looking around and found a few, but they're the film type with adhesive over the entire LCD... I'm not too:scratch excited about those !

I finally found one type made by Giottos (SP8306) which caught my attention. Seems like there's a narrow strip of adhesive that would contact the outter edges of the screen only.. and it's made of glass !
Has anybody tried these ?

Thanks

I have that on my D700.. it works like how it should!
But make sure you get the matte type.

I highly recommend the GGS screen protectors. Yes, they stick to the LCD but they can be removed. Once installed, you'll forget it is there. It is made of extremely thin glass that is totally transparent.

    It is also cheap. :D

Another rec for those screen protectors. They work well and you'll forget it is there.

Eventually you'll need to remove it - handy tip for that time is to use dental floss. Pops it right off.

I actually tried removing these things.. it was a b*tch and a half.. left sticky residue and the whole nine yards.
I don't think you'll think to remove it unless its broken, though!

I checked those out... seems like it will be shipped from over the waters. Would be a long wait, but after reading the description.. might give them a try. Can't seem to find them here in the states ! Where did you get it from ? Thanks !!

Invisashield or Gadget Guard. Pretty much clear vinyl sticker stuff.
