banner?

hey, I had my banner right where I wanted it when i had a "white" theme smug mug. but then i decided I wanted to go with a darker background. so I choose the "earth" theme. now for some reason i cant get my banner in the top left corner.... Im just trying to get a basic, clean, darker look. I want my logo or banner in the top left corner, my nav bar on the top right corner & then underneath it I want a fixed size slide show to take up most of the page..... do i need to change the theme to get this done?? also, i used the "easy customizer navigation bar"... how to i add a link to my galleries on that since my homepage & galleries are seperate now?? heres my page so you can see what im talking about... thanks!:scratch

The gradient bar at the top of your site overlaying your navbar is part of the theme. To remove it, add the following code to your account settings > style > advanced customizer > CSS box:
#extraDiv1 {
display: none;
}

That should remove it.

To align banner and navbar, the easiest solution would be to remove the banner code you added in the advanced customizer and add your banner via the Tools button > Easy customizer > header > custom banner option. Then the alignment option of the navbar could take effect.

thank you. but ive tried the easy customizer banner & it wont let me upload my photo. it just keeps saying "processing image" forever. & the part above it is blank where it tells me to choose from an already uploaded photo from my galleries. so its not letting me choose my logo picture to upload. i came back a few times thinking it was a bug or something....but its been a few days now & still isnt working??

Earth is an ancient SM theme, won't work with stretchy and just is out-of-date. Strongly suggest you try a newer theme.
