So, I try to find out when it ends, I can't. Maybe I am just too nervous, but I would have to dig, The info should be there.
Also, heh, I was going to have someone join to vote for me, well, I didn't know if they could or not, but I can't find out if people can even join dgirn.
So, I guess there is a lot I don't know.
Gubbs did you find out when this is over???
ginger
Geez thanks to all, but did you all have to make it a nail biter???
That is water I am drinking, honest.

I sent Andy a PM.
I thought the deadline was always on the front page.
So I have looked at old ones, and they just put the critique where the info would be......................
I did think it was soon. I voted last night, as I thought, oh my gosh, it could be over at noon today. It is almost 6PM on the east coast, here.
???????????????
And, by the by, how do people join this place?

I did just get a new "how to" photoshop book in the mail. Another book to absorb by sleeping on it.
And what a "photo finish" it was. Congratulations to the very close runner up, Pathfinder. And congratulations to all of the finalists. The entries were really spectacular this time. It was hard to vote. They are all so good.
Thank you Andy and Harry for all the time you spend on this. We all look forward, eagerly, but with patience, to your critical comments.

And I had no idea, I mean none. My theory was I would never WIN!
My hope was always the finalists, I was proud of that. Then when someone told me how close I was here, and that was a few hours ago. Well, first I got nothing done, joked about having my friends join. Heck, my husband wouldn't, he had to walk the dogs.................anyway, I was just joking.
And I am glad, as good God, I feel like Sally Field here! Only I will change it a bit, some people really liked my photograph. I am going to have it blown up, put it in the frame I was going to put the rainbow in, but it is a perfect frame for Shifting Sands, and I am going to try to figure out why, of all my photographs, that was the one................
I am so happy, I mean really happy!! I wish I drank, I would have a toast.
Though I am not sure it would go with all the ice cream I have been eating to jolt my already jolted nerves.
Don't know if I have said anything not right, I wouldn't be me if I got it all right, unless it were a memorized test.
There were so many great photos, photos I loved...........I don't understand, I was happy to make the finals, and I am floored now.
I have gotten a lot of paper sorted in the last hour, tutorials here and there.
Great photographs everyone! Drink a toast to US and Andy and anyone else involved in keeping this thing going.

Uh, forgot who skims my stuff. (I said you had a great Photograph, too, and I am very happy! That was the whole gist of many words)
