Lazy day today so I asked my wife if she'd model for me while I experimented around with gels. We tried several colors but red was the stand out. Used a white a backdrop with one gelled light hitting it. Key light was a huge soft box and a large white reflector for fill. Kicker was a gridded strip box to camera right.

Thanks. Question... how are the colors on your end?

The skin tone looks fine on my end but there is a slight bluish cast to the whites of her eyes. Do you see it on your end?

Love 'em all but the first one. Your lighting in that shot made it look like she has bags under her eyes (notice the diplomatic wording there. mwink.gif) I'd fix it or toss it.

I adjusted the white balance on this set and now that I did, I can see that the other had a light blue cast on all the highlights, not just the eyes. Looks much improved on my end. Look better to you all?

I definitely like the warmer (WB corrected) version better.

Yeppers, the wb is right on the money on the last corrected one. I like how you overlaided the darker vignette on top of the red gels. Nice. Plus having a gorgeous model doesn't hurt lol.
