View of the Swiss countryside in September. I was invited to breakfast at a friend's home and this was right next to it and it felt like a good place to take a deep breath and take a photo. Criticism is very much welcome, particularly in editing.

Very pretty. Looks nicely exposed. Processing looks great, since you asked. Probably the only nit I see is that the clouds are a bit blown out in some places to the left. Not sure whether that's exposure or processing, or a combination of the two. Not really objectionable, but noticeable if that makes any sense. Composition is a bit dull. It needs something to draw you in, maybe a cow. mwink.gif

    Post some more! :D

Thanks for the input! Unfortunately the clouds are blown out in the RAW file. This is the only landscape from the trip that I liked, which is really sad because it was a long trip to a beautiful place. For this trip I rented a 17mm tilt shift lens which was a lot fun to use but takes a bit of getting used to and unfortunately I came back with a lot of shots that did not look up to standard... mostly blurry. It is a very nice lens but it only focuses manually and I made the incorrect assumption that being so wide, I would be hitting hyperfocal distance pretty easily but it was a bit more complicated than that. It requires you to zoom into your preview and really check your focus closely. Live and learn!
