Due to a family emergency, I ended up in Porterville this weekend and wasn't able to shoot what I wanted for this challenge. I did come up with a few shots. I'm partial to the first two...

    I think the lines and the dramatic look of the 1st one make it a nice standout from the other 2.

    The lighting in 1 is more appealing but the road is in the way, if it was going off into the frame it would be better but just the corner of it just does not seem to fit.
    I like the lone oak shot #2 also

    I like #2. I wonder if a narrower crop would accentuate the undulating hills.

    Yea, this works IMO. Nice detail. I was just there a couple weeks ago.

    Having said that, I think number 1 is nice also. Perhaps reduce the exposure and bring out the shadows to even it out a bit. just my two cents.
