My ex called my work immature and unpolished

That is what she said when I asked for feedback on some work. Yes, she still thinks I am immature and unpolished 15 years after being divorced.

Now I am looking for opinions that are not affected by your personal views.

    the light play on her face is wonderful. other than that it is fairly decent image. nothing else really stands out +/- imo

    Pay more attention to her hair and watch out for hair that casts shadows on the eye. Her hand also is not relaxed.

    Asking for feedback on your images is one thing & I pretty much agree with Qarik. Asking for feedback on/rebuttal of comments from your Ex of 15 years is another. The latter does seem a bit immature indeed...

    i think to evaluate your work we need to see more. did she say this image particularly is immature and unpolished? I think its a great image and nothing to me looks immature or unpolished.

    I agree about not trusting an ex's opinion. but show us more so we can form more of one!
