The use of a camera is similar to that of a knife. You can use it to peel potatoes, or carve a flute. ~ E. Kahlmeyer

    not as powerful as "Commute".

Closer here might of been better.

I like that they are all looking same way, but agree with bfjr that closer might be better. Even if you lose the person in the right window, just the guy on stair and kid in open window would be great.

Here you go. I agree this one is not nearly as strong as Commute, nor is it as sharp. I was drawn to the man on the step smoking and also liked the man on the right wrapped with his scarf. Cropping him out to bring the others closer is a way to go. Thanks.

I actually like this better than commute. Would a square crop help?

I'll be different, Patti. I dig the original. I like the opportunity to imagine the differences between the passengers.

I'm with Travis. The original is great as it is. If it's going to be used in a webpage or other small format, then you can always crop it then. As it is, it's fine.

I've enjoyed these two train shots.

I do too prefer the expression the image conveys in the original .

Interesting breakdown of preferences. I should just go with my gut and stop second guessing myself.
