Smart galleries, coupons and price lists

I have a smart gallery of my 100 newest photos set up (the smart gallery is based on a keyword). I would like to discount all new photos in this gallery at 10% off. My experimentation has shown that:
1) A discounted price list for this gallery does not work -- photos will be priced as they appear in their home gallery.
2) A coupon that is applied only to the smart gallery will work, even if the photo's home gallery is not set up to accept that coupon.
Can anyone at Smug HQ confirm that this is the way it's supposed to work? I don't trust my (limited) testing... I just need to know that I'm approaching it correctly.
Oh, the smart gallery in question is http://www.railroadphotographer.com/A-Railroad-Portfolio/Newest-Portfolio/Newest-Photos/27243092_X6stds#!i=2276606414&k=TFBqt3c should that matter.

You are correct on both accounts. Collected images retain the pricing and security settings of their source galleries and coupons will still apply to them even if the coupon is not applied to the source gallery.
If you have any other questions, please let us know.
