Many months ago - last year - I started a theme involving volunteers of a local community of artists in my home town.
The members were invited to be photographed by me in the place they usually work. Unfortunately, only eight people volunteered.
The goal was to make an exposition with the photographs side by side with their own work.
The exposition is scheduled for the 18th January 2013 at last !
Here is a sheet with each of the images.
EDIT - Sorry but I erased the image

My favorite is Armondo Santos. He's looking at the canvas, not at you; he appears to be concentrating on painting, and not posing for a photograph. The entire frame looks more like a candid shot taken while he was really working, while all of the others have more of a posed quality like a portrait for a magazine profile of the artist (exceptionally well done portraits). thumb
Except for Acacio Cainete - his expression says, "Who the hell are you, and what the hell are you doing in my studio?!"
That was over 40 years ago!

Thank you Randy. This is a too big forum for my taste. I've moved some time ago but theses days I am very involved in themes and projects under a different scale of work.
@ Qarik - Thank you
