    Yes, tne access and opportunity is astounding - and there are some terrific images here, but some day take a look at the images from the Johnson, Ford, and Clinton White Houses, and you'll realize these aren't quite as special as they now seem.

    Earache, the stuff from the Kennedy administration is gorgeous - iconic. But, keep in mind that it was much more tightly controlled than the photography of later administrations, so what you are seeing is largely is what the Kennedy's wanted you to see, and what was used to sell the nation on the idea of Camelot.

    So true BD - Camelot seemed to be what the Nation needed and wanted at the time, cold war and all.
    The most wonderful "uncontrolled" image I've seen lately is the biker-chick sitting on Joe Biden's lap.rolleyes1.gif
