Double Crested Cormorant

I wanted to get out and take a walk this morning. Weather isn't the best.
Overcast and with a forecast of rain, it was starting to cloud up as the crud
burned off.

All the birds seemed settled. Except for this Double Crested Cormorant who
spent a great deal of time cleaning.

Spectacular birds though my shot doesn't do them justice.

Cool, Ian. I took lots of shots of a one year old Ian, today. My youngest grandson. Interesting subject.

My daughter, gasp, quit feeding the birds, so I haven't seen any. This is suburbs of Charlotte, NC.

I did shoot a cooked bird. From every angle, too.

Love those feathers on your bird! And the eye, you got yourself a great eye, IMO.

Good capture Ian. He must having been doing his routine at a fast pace. You really froze the action and caught some excellent details well. Very impressive especially considering you weren't shooting under ideal conditions.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
