DSS 120 ideas

One thing about this topic, is that there are so many 'typical' ways to do this. So it will be good as other said, to look at this in a new approach.... Not too sure how these measure up, but please let me know what you think.

    I really like number 1, but maybe with a tighter crop. It just seems to close to an edge.

    thanks Troy. Ill play with some different crops and see what comes up. I wanted to add something to the image and liked the texture that came out.

    this is a little tighter, but I framed it on the edge in camera.

    I am particular to hear from others if the textures I tried to incorporate add anything to the image...

    I like the texture on the leaves in the first one, detail and sharpness. I agree about the comp of the select color being close to the edge. Rule of thirds type crop

    Like the morning frost subject but more depth of field might help it out

    I agree that you need a ROT crop to make #1 work.

    For #2, I would selectively color the flower that falls on the ROT line rather than the one you chose.
