This was my first sunrise shoot. I'm in fine moods regardless of when I wake up, but I severely lack motivation of getting up and outside when it's cold. So I was able to do it this past weekend and came away with a few shots that were workable. Shot a timelapse with my cellphone as well.

Here's 2 of my favorites that I came away with. C&C more than welcome on them. One is HDR and per another thread asking about HDR going on, I'd be curious to hear honest thoughts about how it was done in regards to this picture here. Of course it looks better on a calibrated monitor as the foreground and such is darker than seen on a bright one.

Here's another, single exposure though

Here's the link for the timelapse if anyone wanted to see it. 550 frames at 15fps shot on my Galaxy Note phone with the Lapse It Pro app.

I'm no lover of HDR, but really like your first pic anyway. Not to overly cooked IMO. Second shot is nice, but would have been better if the mountains had been slight below the upper span of the bridge to allow a little sky to show. Would have separated the bridge a little more. Nice though.

Very nice shots, Zach. The HDR processing looks fine. Personally, I wouldn't even bring it up unless asked. mwink.gif

Thanks for the comments everyone, appreciate them! Thinking I'll have to shoot some more sunrises here before it becomes to early for me since I shoot sunsets all the time and it's becoming a bit redundant. Unless of course it's one that stands out from the rest.

Ridgetop, that's a good idea. I could probably achieve that by walking down just a short bit into the area you see in my first shot. I'll have to test out how far I'd have to go to bring the mountains below the span, but I bet it's not very far. Thanks!
