Keyword search - no results

I added keywords to a subset of photos in a gallery using Smugmugs Tools/Caption/Keyword functionality. But when I enter one of the keywords I just added and saved in the search field and hit Enter, I get zero findings in either site-wide or gallery search results. Is this functionality broken, or does it take a significant period of time to populate the data base before using the search function?

I know the generic search capability is working but I don't use the Search box. You can try bypassing the search box by just adding /keyword-keyword1 to you site's URL. For instance, my site is www.mikejulianaphotography.com To do a keyword search is just www.mikejulianaphotography.com/keyword-keyword1-keyword2. This way you can see where the problem might be.
A link to your site/gallery in question would be useful as well.

Thanks Mike: I was eventually to get them to show up using the "also search....yaddah,yaddah" links in the search results statement. Forgot about using the URL line as an option..tnx for the reminder. It's been a while sinch I have been active.

I think you meant to say www.mikejulianaphotography.com/keyword. Using this type of url works great for finding typos and keywords that should be eliminated or merged.

You could also add a keyword to the end of that url preceded by a "/" if you are quicker at typing then scrolling... for instance: www.mikejulianaphotography.com/keyword/soccer.

And then narrowing it down further by adding more keywords with a "-" ... like Mike J mentioned: http://www.mikejulianaphotography.com/keyword/soccer-vista-2012

oops you are right. The form should be www.mikejulianaphotography.com/keyword/keyword1-keyword2-keyword3.
