The Chase

I took this with the D700 and the Voigtlander 20mm.

I was set up for more of a silhouette type shot shooting back into the bright midday sun that was pouring up Yonge Street from over Lake Ontario. This gentleman came running up the street, chased by a buddy of his as I was framing the shot. I fired away and grabbed what I could of the moment but had to do some work to bring the levels up to what you see here.

I'd be interested to hear critiques on this image.

That's pretty cool shot. I love the smile on his face. Wish that woman wasn't there though

And I would maybe crop it up a bit, as there is alot of empty foreground.

A big part of the shot for me is the harsh shadow that he's casting ahead of him...doesn't work for me without it.
