A Special 6th Birthday - Need your help. :)

My wife passed this info on to me. A friend of hers (on facebook, via a group for parents of "special" children) has a little lad called Zak who's life expectancy at birth was, well, nil. He is now 6 years old (nearly) and the mum is wanting a special birthday for him by trying to get as many card for his birthday from all over the world. I thought it was a lovely idea, and so posting here to see if anyone would be willing to put a stamp on a birthday card for Zak and send it to him?

If you will, then take a look at this link to the facebook page...the top post shows the address to send the cards to. The address is a supplier of Special needs toys etc., who has agreed to act as "Post Office" for Zak. You can read more about Zak on that page.

    Zac had his birthday, and had over 450 cards sent...hopefully some of yours got there.

    I can't share the photo as the group has now been made secret prior to it closing (it has done what it was meant to. :) )
