I simply can't get enough of seeing this bird! This was a flyover by one of our resident breeding pair in my area of New Jersey.

Many thanks for looking!

Wonderful shot, Pear! I appreciate your waiting in the cold for hours, especially because I got the pleasure of seeing your photo without the wait! Best, Pam

I agree that was more than worth the wait to capture a shot like this.

Awesome capture! What lens do you use to get that close?

    Hunter58, Endurodog, Pam, Dennis, John,

Thanks so much for your wonderful replies! I really appreciate hearing from all of you!

    John,

We have a lucky spot where, once in a while, if we're very lucky, the eagles will do a close flyby over a footbridge. As a result, I was able to get this photo with a handheld 300mm. (Usually, I'm straining at them from a distance with a 400mm on a tripod...)

Many thanks again, and best wishes to you,

    Pear
