As a new arrival to the world of Smugs and Grins, I am trying to feel my way around the forum... So I just wonder, what do you guys think of this location?

    Welcome to Landscapes, Sigh! clap.gif

It's great location and you did a terrific job at capturing it in the evening sky. thumb.gif

That first one in particular is quite awesome. I think the modern stuff in the left half of the second picture draws too much attention from the older ruins. Also, catching the reflection protruding into the little space between the reeds is very nice.

Nice job under less than favorable conditions.thumb.gif Great scene. I'd love to see this one wherein the old structure just eats up most of the frame....losing all the extraneous lights and distractions.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thank you so much, Smugger's! Really pleased to see your replies.
A question... I've never printed a shot, fear of it looking crap. Not sure my screan is shoing nice enough colours. Would these print alright?
Here is one in the day-time. A spring morning, last year.7723093082_8e169df4e3_o-2-XL.jpg

I prefer the first image as there is a distraction in the second. A brilliant job and well done.
