First time at Focus stacking

Hi
Have just purchased Olympus E-600 from ebay and sigma lens arrived yesterday. These are the first pictures of macro, focus stacking and using camera and lens. Have been going through LordV section on beginning Macro photography and these are the results. I have had to use a tripod as my hands are not steady enough to hand hold camera at the moment but with time I hope to get used to it. Please give me advice as to improve my photos. Many thanks.

Good start- main thing is just to practice as much as possible.

a good start , what program did you stack with? alot of stacking marks visible.

it does take a lot of practise , some images do take a lot of touch up work in photoshop to remove distracting marks/doubled edges ect
