    Well, let's see here....

    Beautiful and interesting subject. Check.
    Good compositions. Check.
    Great light and/or skies. Check.
    Good exposures. Check.
    Terrific processing. Check.

Well, that's my input other than to say I think this is some of your finest work that I've seen, Bob. clap.gifdeal.gifbarb

Some of your best pics I've seen from you, Bob. Just a niggle... the first needs straightening, and the second has some what looks like wide angle distortion that could be removed in post.

Thanks ever so much David for those kind remarks which I truly appreciate. I was wondering if you could sort out the second photo for me as I don't know what to do.

Could be just me, or the landscape behind it, but the second has a general bowing upwards appearance in the middle that is typical of a very wide angle lens' perspective (just guessing).

Thanks again for replying and now you have pointed it out I see what you mean. I must admit I would never have noticed it but I am no pro and always keen to learn.

LOVE both shots! As mentioned above, first one needs the horizon to be straightened out. I would increase highlights in both just a tad and under-expose the second just a tad....but that just one opinion! Awesome job!

Bob, if you're using Lightroom and/or Photoshop, you can use the Lens Correction/Profile Corrections option to fix the slight bulging in a single click.

Thanks for that Joel I do use PS CS5 and will attend to that and will certainly keep it in mind for the future.
