Three images of Saddleback, Blencathra near Keswick in the Lakes. To the right of the images is the notorious Striding Edge leading to the Chimney, which is not for the faint hearted. It is between 3 - 4 feet wide with a drop of around 400 feet on each side. Every year so many walkers have slipped resulting in deadly consequences.
C&C always welcome.
Bob

Hi Bob, I prefer #1. The lighting and cloud drifting across really makes it. Just one point, the arete shown is Sharp Edge. Striding Edge is on Helvellyn.

    Cheers, Richard.

Thanks for looking and replying. Yes you are right and I apologise for getting it wrong. However, people say that Sharp Edge is worse than Striding Edge with the 400ft drop on each side. Not having a head for heights wouldn't attempt either.
