iframe & password probs with IE

Hi. I hope someone can help please.
I have portfolios with SmugMug that correspond with the navbar headings I have created on my own website (created with Serif WebPlus X6).
www.cyrusmehta.co.uk
So when a viewer clicks on a certain page on my website I have linked that corresponding page to the portfolio in question on SmugMug via an iframe.
This is all working well with Google Chrome but the only problem I have when using Internet Explorer is that any password protected galleries don’t work.
The message keeps saying the password is wrong and I can’t get in!
Many thanks in advance.

The iframe is the issue. Especially with passwords and cookies, it can cause problems. That's why we do not recommend that you embed SmugMug pages via an iframe or any other method.
The proper way to integrate your SmugMug site with your existing homepage would be with customizations. With the Easy customizer you should be able to set up your banner and navbar on your SmugMug site without the need for any code.
Then we also have the advanced customizer where you can use your own code to match your SmugMug site better to your existing homepage. If you have any customization questions, check out the Dgrin customization forum.
Since you already have a custom domain, you could also use that with your SmugMug site. For example, you could set up your SmugMug site to be available via a subdomain like gallery.yourdomain.com . That way you could keep your existing homepage at www.yourdomain and just link to the subdomain. Read more on our custom domain feature here.

Many thanks for the reply.
I originally did set up my site with Easy Customiser and had it running that way for a quite a while but then i wanted a fresh new look on the face of the website and just have the galleries in SmuMug in iframes.
I guess I'll have to revert back to the old way if there is definitely no way of working within iframes.
I don't know code at all so advanced customisation won't help me.
I'll have a look at your last suggestion about custom domain and see how i get on.
Many thanks for your time.
Hi and like Sebastian said, Welcome to dgrin!
I cannot tell you how helpful this customization forum can be. I know many people who, like you, did not know the first thing about coding but wound up building incredible websites thanks to some patience, hard work, and alot of help from the awesome folks who are active in this forum.
