I was sure wishing Abilene had a beach two nights ago--this moon was perfect for a stroll on the shore!!

    Nice shot! I like the clarity and colors, and the mood it creates. My only comment is whether the moon needs to be dead center.

    Hi Tony!

    Thanks for the compliments... I've included another shot that's not quite so centered. The winds were over 30mph and the clouds were moving fast. I agree... too centered!!

    Interesting colors for sure, like the blue halos around the moon. The moon can be tough to shoot and it looks like you may have blown out the top end and over exposed a tad. Of course, this means that the rest of the scene gets very dark. Did you try any HDR experiments?

    I can never get moon so clean.....always get something diffused......I guess its lens issue....I have to try some zoom lens and see what happens......
