A few shots I took last week along the St. John's River here in Jacksonville, FL. The sky and sunset conspired to create some awesome colors... Comments welcome!

I was having dinner in St. Augustine the night you shot these. I've never seen a sky quite like that one. And, of course, me with no SLR camera. I tried my cell phone camera ( and it's a good one ) but I got lousy results.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Hey Tom.... don't you hate it when that happens? There have been so many times I've kicked myself for not having the camera with me. Funny thing, we had been in the St. Augustine area that day also (last Saturday), and were coming back to Jacksonville. I knew where I wanted to get these shots, but nearly missed it. In fact, I got there about 30 min later than I wanted to, but still got lucky.

Gotta say WoW on these! Excellent captures!
For me, because they are so common, sky photographs get routine - unless they look like this!

I like the color balance in the first one the best, Steve. Truly an epic sunset and well captured.

Lovely sunsets - kike what you have done - would be good of there was more to the images than the sunset ??

Unfortunately the place along the river where I was at didn't have anything to add into the shot. Just a bit of grass along the bank.

Beautiful captures. The first one is the best one I believe.
