Hello - I have a Canon 24-70 f2.8L USM for sale. Unit is in excellent condition all around. Takes sharp photos, zero scratches on glass, no dust inside, focus ring works perfectly, etc. Includes EW-83F hood (normal scuff marks), case, original box, guide, and warranty card. Date code is UW0212.
$1150.
SF Bay Area pickup preferred, or buyer assumes shipping cost.

Hi Gaby - the new one is a bit sharper, has improved auto-focus in very low-light situations, has a 9-blade Diaphragm (instead of 8) for a smoother bokeh, and is a bit lighter (due to more plastic and less metal). There are a couple of other minor differences as well. However, it's also way more expensive starting at $2300 at B&H...for which Canon is receiving a lot of criticism.
I haven't even used my new one yet, other than 2 test shots. As a concert photographer, I need all the low-light AF performance I can get, so I made the jump. Hopefully it proves worth it.
