To the moon

Sure - I could show you the moon...

...but I thought I might be able to do it a little better. (This is a real shot - no photoshopping other than basic adjustments. We were in a hotel near the airport. I was shooting the moon from the balcony of our room. I saw that this plane might be headed right in front of the moon so I waited and got it.)

I'm just getting started on post work from our trip to Puerto Rico (These were shot there as well). I'll be posting more as I get them done.

    Thanks guys. I thought it was pretty cool. It's certainly one of those "lucky" shots. I wish I had been patient enough to wait for more of the plane to be in the light but if I did I probably would have missed the whole thing. It's a nice compromise this way.

    very nice
    its a demonstration of photographic skill to be able to concentrate on one thing and be aware of another out of frame.
    the only improvement i can think of would be to USM the moon a bit
