The Mojave Chief high above and in command of the Mojave River

Over 100 years of powder produced by nearby cement mining and milling operations has left a thick, white-gray coating bound to the exposed surfaces of the rock.

    Thanks Lauren, Joel. There's a companion, the politically incorrectly named, Mojave Squaw, anthropomorhic about a mile away, but I've been having a time locating it.
