Frigid Lake Superior

I recently was up in Two Harbors, MN along the North Shore of Lake Superior, earlier this month. This was just a few minutes after sunrise with an air temp of -12F. I love how the "sea smoke" is rising off the lake and how the light hits it and the light coming through the clouds. Let me know your thoughts...

I love the sky and the smoke, Mike! I wish the water in the foreground was sharper though. Maybe you focused too far back?

Kdog, Thanks for the comment. I acually did some selective focus on this image. I blurred the foreground in photoshop.

I think I'd like to see this without the artificial blur, and maybe link it instead of attaching it so it doesn't have to be downsampled as much? It's a pretty awesome sky, but I agree with Kdog, there doesn't seem to be enough sharpness in the photo for my eye to latch onto. The narrow "depth of field" would have worked better if there was a strong subject in that zone, I think.
Yeah, if you recognize the avatar, new user name.
