Then there was this. I could have gone on, but when I did the one I did enter, that was IT for me......... Why did I choose the other one: it needed no work up, I did a bit to it, curves and +15 with the saturation, plus USM. It reminded me of a Wyeth painting as is. ginger Good luck all, I am just happy as I like, and now have, my rooster.

Me. too. Thanks, Windoze! I could have gone on with the rooster all day in post...........those little birds are fantastic for color, etc. My husband prefers these white ones, and I like this one best of those.

    The one I DID enter........
Now I am confused, a normal state, I guess......... Should I have entered the other Rooster.

The one I entered, I entered it naked, no framing.

    Hi, ginger_55
I like all of the photos but the white peacock is Awesome.
The local zoo here in Asheville has a peacock but it is not white.
I think your roster photo looked alot better than mine.

    Hi, Chuck, thanks.

I don't know why I am so attached to the rooster, but I am.

The white peacock, I feel like it should have "lighter" whiter appearance. Or something. I was disappointed on that scale.

I have others of the white peacock, and the rooster, from that night.

Everyonce in a while I am tempted to work on another peacock one, then I think of the disappointment.

I just woke up to the most gorgeous pink and blue sky, and I am missing it. It is almost gone. It is supposed to start raining later. I am going out with my husband, he says 8 AM, about a half hour. Just take photos of something, anything at this point, as I have zippo.

Thanks for your comments on my barnyard menagerie. I really do like them myself.
