Any reason for a photo - new shirt/dress thing

So the girls got new shirts/dresses from a friend and Grace was the only one up for a photo shoot. I have about decided that I either need to get a good white / gray background or wait until it isn't 4degF outside and I can find something other than snow as a backdrop. :) Anyway... it worked okay I guess. I did a white vignetting to try and "hide" the background some. Love to hear feed back on the lighting / pose. I didn't realize she had her hand up until after... to be fair, it does fit her for some reason.

    I don't know. I think the background works well for this shot with that outfit. Might be better if it were less in focus, but with the outfit and expression I think it adds rather than detracts.

    Light gives nice shape to the face too.
