Man, oh man, some of those delicious rust patterns above look just like sensor noise on 2003 era cameras when you cranked up the ISO's to a top end of 400. In other words, well done!

What the heck is the second image, anyway? Looks like a tight bundle of wire strand cables.

That is.... a washboard, up close and personal.

Got yourself some solid hits here, Bill. It's tough to pick a favorite but I'll go with the last one. Very well done set.thumb.gif

Love the colors and patterns in #1, but the texture in #2 adds a lot of interest.
    More props to the iphone!

Fine examples Bill. Pretty fine thumb.gif All 3 save for the firing order is 3-1-2 for me. 3 is the one that does the deal for me as it has the widest range of variance for colors, textures and choas.
I can move around from point to point time and again should I like. I also like how you have carefully pushed to get where you have arrived with these.
Not too hot and not too cold :D All clean and sharp as well. Sweet
    Washboard. Right :-)

These are all amazing! My favorite is #3 - I would like to fly over it in circles just looking down at the details thumb.gif
