I have tried various ways to be able to search my photos on google and received a couple of suggestions on how to set this up on this forum but I have not had any results with it. I have put a description in the caption area about 2 weeks ago thinking this would work.
"Tamarack Beach Resort Sunset Photo", this is how I described the photo. This is in my navbar Scenic Tours and Nature.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

It looks like the problem here is that you have External Links set to 'no' in that gallery. With this, Google will crawl your site, but the image previews will not show for your site - they will only display on SmugMug. Turning off External Links and allowing more time should get the photos up.

Will it help to work with the keyword features also?

    Pete,
Yes, as we mention on this search suggestions page, captioning and keywording your individual photos is very beneficial. The more relevant content you can add to your photos, the more there is for Google and other search engines to index. Just don't get overboard in adding keywords that are not relevant to the photo, like adding your name to each photo.
