    Shoot through a blemished lens and there's your film effect. lol

    Really, digital is more accurate to life and is a great starting master 'reel'. Then, those with the talent of digital technique can achieve just the same amount of artistry as film. Its all doable, but it just requires new methods; its just that humans have always been resistant to new things.
