DSS #123 - thoughts please?

Was having a really hard time trying to come up with something for this until this evening (it's amazing how creative my mind gets when I am avoiding doing my taxes!!) & now I need help choosing. These shots might be partially identifiable by someone in the hobby, but I was using a macro tube & playing with angles & light so I'm hoping they look abstract enough. Still blank on name ideas.

While I like several in the first set, it's #8 that grabs me the most--I love the shadows, the texture and the repeating shapes. Nice!

I like 1 and 3. I have no idea what they are.

Thanks for the comments Kate & Chris - & fyi, the first group are shots of critters & a shell in a saltwater tank. 1, 2 & 3 are my favorites - I think partially because of the colors. I have two others that are pretty similar to 1 & 3, after looking at them today, I'm thinking I might like them better. So here's 9 & 10:

I like 9 and 8. I like the texture and shapes in 8 and the overall composition and colors in 9. And I do certainly like 9 better than 1. 3 and 10 do little for me as I think too much of the frame is too soft.
