Hi everyone,

So last time I put 3 pictures which were a first attempt at abstract photography. Result: 2 were too recognizable and one was very common.
Below is my second attempt. I looked around my place for inspiration. I am someone who always does things with structure and accuracy. In middle school my art teacher was desperate with me. My work was always so 'square'... So I tried to push myself a bit here.

Thanks a lot in advance for your C&C.

For the first one, I prefer it with some black background, but normally it should take the all frame. So I am showing you both crop.

4. Metallic colors

Thanks

I like the symmetry of #2. Colors are nice and the repeating shapes are interesting.

I also like the symmetry of #2, and I like the intensity of colors in the 4th one, Metallic Colors. But I think I prefer the soft dreamy feel of the last shot - good shape & structure but soft & fluffy! Nice effect.

BTW, it's easier to comment if you number the photos.

ditto lkbart's comment. I also like the color intensity in 4 but the crop in 2. Also I am not sure if 1 and 5 would exactly satisfy JAG's intention that "Be sure that your image fills to the frame of the whole picture. There should be very little to no backgrounds or boarders."

    Thanks everyone.
    I added numbers.

So hard to choose. And abstract is so dependent on the viewer's style...

I had a go at cropping the last one. I do like the texture of it but then I have less of the hot red which is my favorite color...
