Protected Gallery

Is there a way to change the thumbnail that pops up on a protected gallery and remove the lock next to the album title? If you go to my proofs page I would like to change this to one of the pictures in the gallery itself.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

    Go to the photo in the gallery you want to feature for the thumb.
    tools > more > feature

    I have no idea how to remove the lock next to the title.
