Death of an Amaryllis

A dead Amaryllis. I think it's just as pretty dead as alive. I used my own technique (sorry, I'm not saying) to make it look like a botanical illustration, rather than a photograph. The flower was red, but changed colour when decaying.

Shot with Canon 100mmL macro lens and 5DM2. Studio lights.
