Different home page

Hello all.

My question is....Is it possible for the Home page/landing page to be a gallery page?

So when someone visits www.......com they end up at a gallery page instead.

In my opinion, the easiest way to do this would just be setting up a domain forward with your web host, so www.abcphotography.com would redirect to www.abcphotography.com/travel/iceland or somthing similar.
