Snow Geese getting ready to head back

It is interesting to see the changes in behavior of the migrating birds. The Snow Geese are getting ready for the flights back to the northlands. They are seldom still these days constantly trading back and forth between fields of grains and new growth pastures. This morning they were working the cornfield. Fog was rolling around also but it gave me a break.

    #1 is IMPACT picture! The farmhouse in the back ground and geese in foreground......this one is unique!!!

    I absolutely LOVE the D3 I dont know if I could go back to a cropped sensor camera unless it could come close to the fps, buffer, and ISO performance. they did not do that with the D7100 not even close

    Very good shots! It is so hard to get a good picture of a whole mass of geese taking off, but you certainly succeeded!
