Birds of prey
Haven't posted in a long time and thought I'd share a few shots. I spent yesterday at the SA National Birds of Prey Center. Here are some of the first few images that I've processed.
Most of these birds are "imprints" (they were taken out of their nests when young or were found fallen out of their nests and raised by hand. So they believe that they are actually equal to humans which can be very dangerous for their behavior). They are still used for breeding because if they raise their young themselves, these can be released into the wild again. So these are not fully "wild"-life but hope you enjoy them.
1. Fish Eagle
2. Black Eagle
3. Kestrell
4. Bateleur
5. Juvenile Kestrel?
6. Juvenile Black Eagle
