Canon 600EX RT compatible with Pixel TD-381 external battery pack?

Is the Canon 600EX RT Flash compatible with the Pixel TD-381 external battery pack? I don't see it as listed on the compatibility chart. Can somebody reconfirm this?

I have a Youngnuo battery pack already. Unfortunately, the battery door broke after using it for a week and there is not way I am going to buy another one... Thanks though!

I have this model, the Janco JJC FB-1, and it's done fine for over 3 years use on 2 - 580EX flash units. No problems with any part of the unit.

I have checked ebay and other sites and they don't list Canon 600Ex as compatible flash...

Should I take the risk and return if it doesn't work?

Here is my copy (I use the lanyard to suspend the unit from a light stand):



Be aware that some extremely high-capacity NiMH AA batteries are larger than standard AA diameter and they may not fit this unit. I regard that as a battery fault, not a Janco JJC FB-1 fault.

In other words, if the set of batteries is too tight, don't try to force the cover. Buy a smaller diameter battery set instead.

It's your call, but the Gadget Infinity site lists it as compatible.

I should add that "any" third-party external battery pack may void your Canon 600EX RT warranty. If you wish to preserve your warranty, buy a genuine Canon CP-E4 instead.
