Tracking focus technique on Fuji X-E1

I just got an X-E1 with the 35 and 60mm lenses today at Focus in Birmingham, great deal BTW. Anyway, really happy with the camera, but there's one thing I'm struggling to work out the best technique for, subjects moving towards/away from the camera.
For example, a bride walking up the aisle (I'm not talking birds in flight or anything really challenging). On my DSLR I would select servo AF and put the camera in burst mode. Then hold the button down as she walks towards me. It re-fucusses continually for each shot, which is great.
But burst mode on the Fuji seems to lock the focus, so it seems to be useless for this situation? There is a continuous focus option, but I still have to snap each image separately, meaning that I'm taking a lot less than I would with the DSLR.
Maybe there is a better way, and X-Pro 1 or X-E1 shooters out there with advice?
Much appreciated.
