Tatiana I really enjoy this image. I don't even know if I have ever used a chair as the subject in my photography.... I guess I will need to go and find some fresh images!
Thank you - sometimes is nice to observe simple things
I didn't take this photo, so it can't be part of the challenge.
I just thought I'd have some fun.
My birthday was coming up, I was feeling sorry for myself, I had knee surgery a year earlier, but it wasn't coming around to well.
My wife asks me what I want for my birthday.
I say, "I want to feel young again."
So this was my present.
Really cute. You have a very clever wife. You could get another one and invite Lilly Tomlin over

I'd love to have one of those chairs. My husband broke his (which he got second hand for $25) and he will neither repair it nor take it to the dump.
I use a chair like that ,too. Waiting on a $1000 replacement, in cloth, from Boston Interiors and the old one WILL go. At least according to my wife!

Chair in Calle Crisologo (ca. 1700)
Calle Crisologo in Vigan, Ilocos Sur in the Philippines is a famous street in pre-colonial times. I had the opportunity to visit it again last January. This chair is a famous landmark on the street, where tourists, such as myself, can take some relief from walking and shopping, absorbing the beauty and spirit of times past, when people led much slower lives.
OKC Memorial. From the website: "The 168 chairs represent the lives taken on April 19, 1995. They stand in nine rows to represent each floor of the building, and each chair bears the name of someone killed on that floor. Nineteen smaller chairs stand for the children. The field is located on the footprint of the Murrah Building."
I happened to be in OKC working when it happened - something I will never forget.
I just scoured my archives and found them woefully lacking in anything resembling "chairs". This is the only one that even remotely meets the "chair" criteria. It was taken a few years ago at Nuweiba situated along the eastern shores of Egypt's Sinai Peninsula. A most laid-back little village (ever so less touristy than its more well known neighbor Dahab, 80 km to the north), when I was there, Nuweiba didn't have a single ATM!
Still, based on the amazing diversity of "chairs" submitted here, I guess I need to keep my eyes peeled for stray "chairs" in the future.

Finally found some Chair shots. Remembered had taken some record shots in the Ancient Kauri Kingdom shop in Awanui (Northland, NZ) - as the Chairs were a bit out of my price range!

During a period of low lake levels at Lake Rotoma (Bay of Plenty, NZ), advantage was taken of the extra beach area for a Picnic Area. And then heavy rain brought a rise in the lake level, so the fishes now enjoy the Picnic Area.
Finally found a few. Better late than never So here are my 3 for consideration.

1. Iconic chair from Madison, WI (very famous in my area...)
2. Cliche...but I had to do it...
3. I know this won't qualify, but it was taken from a "chair"...Mrs. Macquarie's Chair in Sydney, to be exact.
