    It was a pleasure to speak with Harryb about the shots and work with him to perform the incredibly difficult task of picking just 10 photos. As I told Harry, I think that I lost more hair today than I have all year! rolleyes1.gif

    But I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who submitted a photo. It really made my first experience as a guest judge really memorable!

    I'm looking forward to the voting!

    Congratulations to the top ten finalists for an outstanding series of bird closeups. :wow What an inspiration to us all. It was hard to chose which one to vote for. But I managed. :D Actually I had already picked the one I would vote for if it made the finals and it did. clap.gif

    I'm having difficulty trying to choose less than 6 winners, much less narrowing it down to only one choice. They're all excellent. I'll have to come back to this thread a few times before I vote.

    Comments in the voting thread DURING THE VOTING are prohibited. Nothing about the finalists, judges, or anything. You may, after the voting, start any new thread you like but PLEASE not ever during the voting.

    If you want to bump the voting thread by saying "wow, tough choice, but I made mine..." that's fine.

    As for the ineligible photo. I wonder if it isn't mine he's talking about.
    In the thread I have a typo and put the 27th. It was taken on the 26th.
    I could change it, but figured I should explain here first.

    I heard nothing. Folks, all of the photos in the finalists are eligible, and were taken during the challenge time.
