I assume he's being cooperative? I like it, but it feels like a missed opportunity to get a funky yet respectful environmental shot. It's also slightly underexposed.

I have no idea what a "funky yet respectful environmental shot" is..

I gave the man a buck and asked if he'd mind if I took his photograph.
He said OK, but just one. I guess that's what you mean by "cooperative".

He's a panhandler. If the shot was in color you'd see two blue paint strips
on the sidewalk that are to indicate an area where panhandlers are allowed
to "work" in downtown Orlando. You can barely see them at the lower
    right.

Normally, following BD's dictum, I don't post photos of down-and-outers,
but I think there's humor in the honesty of requesting a hand-out for
beer and cigarettes instead of the usual "Homeless. Need food. God
Bless" that most put on their signs.

I just take photographs; I don't do causes.

This shot, in the original, was over-exposed and washed out due to the
brightness of the sun. It was darkened in post in the conversion.

Ok, I was thinking of something cheeky that takes advantage of his honesty in a fun way. But in any case, looking at the image again, I think a square crop from just below the top of the image gets very close to what I was imagining. That would also address the darkness of the street itself.

    I'm enjoying it more.
